Do you believe entertainment and the church tie together?
No, I believe regardless of whether you are saved or not we can br entertained, but it doesn’t come through the church. I don’t believe we go to church to be entertained, however, there are such things as gospel plays & gospel comedy. We come to church to worship God!
How do you feel about Pastors doing work within the entertainment field, such as, movies and do you believe they are God given?
There is nothing wrong with Pastors doing movies and I believe they are God given movies. It’s a means of becoming financially stable.
How do you feel about inviting secular artists/celebrities into the church?
First there are church people who sing gospel, but do not live the gospel. Far as bringing secular artists into the church that is a personal issue for the Pastor and their accountability. Is it wrong for a muslim to sing the Star Spangled Banner? What do we say to that? Also, a secular artist may even be a friend of the Pastor. I believe in those cases one plants, one waters, and God gives the increase.
